I remember growing up an ace kid with no idea that asexuality was a thing. I remember talking to friends who felt broken for not wanting sex. They felt unloveable and alone.

I wish we'd known that asexuality existed. I wish we could have had a name for the lack of sexual attraction or desire.

We do not become whole with sex. The lack of it does not make us broken. We are enough.

Asexual people exist everywhere.

We belong and we are not broken.
